2 months!

I took Brandon in for his two month check-up today. Here are his stats:

Weight: 14 lbs (92%)
Length: 24" (84%)
Head: 16" (63.5%)

The little porker got a clean bill of health and earned himself 4 immunizations. Poor thing is sleeping off the trauma now.

For those of you who are wondering how Brandon compares to Justin at this age, I dug up Justin's stats:

Justin's Weight: 13 lb, 7 oz (88%)
Justin's Length: 24" (87%)
Justin's HC: 15.75" (52%)

So it looks like Brandon is edging Justin out right now. One thing is for sure - we grow 'em big in the Wong Family!

Of course, the most exciting news is that Brandon slept from 10:15p to 7a last night!! Woohoo!! And of course, the first thing I had to do was rush to Brandon's room to make sure he was okay. I don't want to jinx anything, but hopefully this is the start of some more restful nights for me. Fingers crossed!

Playtime

I've gotta say that I am thankful that Justin seems to be adjusting well to having Brandon around. For the most part, he's just curious as to why Brandon cries so much and how does my milk machine (breast pump) work. After he gets his questions answered, he goes about his merry way.

This weekend, Justin was pretending to be a chef and needed a customer. It's pretty cute listening to Justin tell Brandon to eat the food and get his attention.

Tummy Time

I really wish the only exercise I was responsible for was lying on my tummy and holding my head up. You think I can get rid of the pregnancy weight that way? Dang, didn't think so. Oh well, at least Brandon is doing well with his exercises...

This is what happens while Justin is waiting for his dinner and gets a hold of the camera...The long awaited part 2 in - Life in the Eyes of Justin!

Berry Picking

Now I've never actually gone berry picking myself, so I was glad to find out that Webb Ranch was so close by in Portola Valley. It's funny how manual labor can be considered "fun" for kids. It definitely made me appreciate why berries are so expensive in the markets. Unfortunately, only ollaliberries were available for picking - the raspberries had already been picked clean. At any rate, "Farmer Justin" had a great time! (And lucky for Mommy, Brandon slept the whole time in his stroller!)

Brandon In Repose

I never get tired of watching babies sleep. There's something so innocent and peaceful about it...well, plus I get jealous that I'm not sleeping like that. Oh well. All in good time.

Quiet contemplation about his next feeding?

Brandon's First Paparazzi Photos

It must be traumatic for newborns...after going through the indignities of delivery, then they have to survive all the paparazzi :) Good thing newborns are sleepy for the first few days...I don't think the cameras bothered him *too* much.

Our first family photo. I look forward to a proper family photo where I've actually taken a shower!
